Yellowtail Raise · Managed service

We run your raise. You take the calls.

Our team runs your fundraise on Yellowtail: the investor list, the outreach, warm intros, replies and booking. Before every call you get a brief on who you’re meeting and what they’ll ask. You pitch and close.

How it works →

Free Investor Snapshot

Start with 20 investors who fit your round.

Send us your website and your deck. We come back with the 20 investors we would approach first, why each one fits, the partner to talk to and the warmest way in, plus the three things we would change in your deck. Then we walk you through it on a short call.

  • 20 matched investors, each with a recent deal or signal, dated and sourced
  • The partner to approach and the warm path to them
  • The three deck issues we would fix first
  • A walkthrough call, with no obligation

{{CONFIRM: turnaround for a Snapshot (e.g. "within a week")}}

Meeting Prep Brief

Walk into every investor call already briefed.

Before each call you get one page on the person you are meeting: who they are, what they have backed, what they have said in public lately, the questions they are likely to ask with suggested answers, and the angle we would take.

  • Who they are, and how their firm makes the decision
  • What they have backed and what they have said recently, each with a date and a source
  • The questions they are likely to ask, with answers drawn from your own data room
  • The angle to take, and what to ask them back

{{CONFIRM: when the brief arrives (the day before each call?)}}

  • Who signs off at the pilot customer?The head of operations, and the renewal date is in the data room.
The angle

She backs teams with paying pilots. Open on the pilot, not the market, and ask how Northwind supports hardware companies through first production.

Four phases, each with a date.

Estimates for Raise Now. We agree the actual dates with you at kickoff.

  1. 01

    Launch

    1–2 weeks

    We set your raise up in Yellowtail as a project and a pipeline, build the full investor list, and sharpen your messaging and positioning with you. You tell us who you already know: current investors, close angels and advisors.

  2. 02

    Outreach

    2–4 weeks

    A sequenced campaign goes out early and in batches, so the calls land together. The same campaign asks your network and existing investors for warm intros. Each week we add around five investors, freshly researched from new signals.

  3. 03

    Calls

    2 weeks

    Investor calls are booked into a two-week window. You get a Meeting Prep Brief before every one, and we keep answering replies and booking follow-ups.

  4. 04

    Negotiation

    About 2–3 days

    We support you on terms and follow-ups until the round is agreed. The legal work stays with your lawyer.

Weekly report

Every Friday, where the raise stands.

One email: who we reached, who replied, the calls booked and the passes, with reasons. Then call analysis from the week’s meeting notes and emails: what went well, what to improve, and what to prepare more for on the next calls.

Call analysis

From this week’s meeting notes and emails

  • Went wellThe pilot story landed on both calls. Northwind asked for the model.
  • ImproveMarket sizing ran long. Cut to one slide and move on.
  • Prep moreTwo investors asked about supply risk. Answer drafted for next week.
Illustrative example

The rest of the work, off your desk.

  • Warm intros, alongside the cold

    Your current investors, angels and advisors are asked for introductions in the same campaign, so the warm paths run in parallel with the cold outreach rather than after it.

  • Replies answered properly

    You give us access to your data room and we build a knowledge base on your business from it. When an investor asks a question, the answer is quick and accurate, without waiting on you.

  • Written for each investor

    Every message starts from something the investor said or did recently, and why you fit their thesis and cheque size. Never a blast.

Two plans, depending on your runway.

  • Raising in the next four weeks

    Raise Now

    Straight into the engine. Launch, Outreach, Calls and Negotiation, back to back.

    About 3 months, then month by month if needed

    • Launch: CRM set-up, the full investor list, messaging
    • Outreach: a batched campaign with warm intro asks
    • Calls: a two-week window, a brief before each
    • Negotiation: support on terms and follow-ups
    • A weekly report with call analysis throughout
  • Raising in four months or more

    Raise Ready

    Get ready first, then launch warm. By the time outreach starts, the investors at the top of your list already know you.

    About 6 months, then month by month if needed

    • Readiness Sprint: your story, the metrics investors will ask for, your data room
    • Warm-up: feedback chats with investors, no ask, and a monthly update to your top targets
    • Then the same engine as Raise Now, starting with investors who already know you
    • A weekly report with call analysis throughout

Both plans are one fixed fee, agreed up front and paid in three instalments. Never a percentage of your round. If the round is still open when the plan ends, you can extend month by month. We quote after a first conversation about your raise.

What we need from you.

  1. 01Tell us who you already know: current investors, close angels and advisors, and anyone you are already talking to, so we never double up.
  2. 02Give us access to your data room.
  3. 03Turn deck changes round during Launch, so outreach starts on time.
  4. 04Keep call slots open in the two-week Calls window.
  5. 05Take the calls, pitch and close. That part is yours.

FAQ

Can you guarantee we’ll raise?

No, and nobody honest can. We commit to the work: the list, the outreach, the replies, the briefs and the reporting. Whether an investor invests is their decision.

How much does it cost?

One fixed fee for the plan, agreed up front and paid in three instalments. We don’t publish it, because we’d rather quote once we’ve heard about your raise.

Do you take a success fee?

No. Never a percentage of your round.

Who sends the outreach?

We run the campaign for you, and agree at kickoff whether it goes from your inbox or ours. {{CONFIRM: sending inbox}}

Will you contact investors I’m already talking to?

No. You tell us who they are when we start, and they stay out of the campaign unless you want a warm intro through one of them.

What do you do with our data room?

We use it to build a knowledge base on your business, so investor questions get quick, accurate answers. It is used for your raise and nothing else. {{CONFIRM: data-room retention and deletion}}

Who is it for?

Founders raising pre-seed to Series A, from UK and European investors. {{CONFIRM: stages and regions}}

Can I see the pipeline?

Your raise runs as a Yellowtail project and pipeline, so every investor and every conversation is in one place. {{CONFIRM: client access to their own Yellowtail project}}

What if the round isn’t closed when the plan ends?

You can extend month by month, for as long as it’s useful.
